​The Arkansas Office of Outdoor Recreation offers educational resources to support partners and entrepreneurs in the state’s outdoor recreation industry, focusing on economic development, education and workforce training, and public health and wellness. Additionally, the office refers businesses to services such as market expansion, international export advice, available incentives, business retention, innovation grants, product testing, and patent support.

The Office of Outdoor Recreation has offered to house the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s GORP free digital video series—Start Smart: A Business Building Curriculum. The curriculum was designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs learn the fundamentals of how to build a business. The modules are taught by subject matter experts from around the state and are self-paced so that users can work through the material as it fits their schedules.
