Guide ARK guides meet state requirements for licensure and insurance. Some locations — including U.S. Forest Service lands, the Buffalo National River, Wildlife Management Areas, and private property — require additional operating permits specific to those areas. When your trip takes you to one of these destinations, it’s worth asking your guide about their permits for that location.
