Have you ever wanted to try backpacking but don’t know where to start? Join Park Interpreter Ashley at the Ozark Highlands trailhead (behind the visitor center) where we will hike a short length of the trail and discover more about some of the basics of preparing for a backpacking adventure. We will hike 1 ½-miles, so be sure to wear good shoes and bring water.
